Lakes and Rivers
Lake St. Catherine: This 852 acre lake is located on Route 30, 25 miles northwest of Manchester, Vermont in Wells, Vermont. The lake contains good numbers of large & small mouth bass. At the north & south ends of the lake smaller ponds are also found.
Lake Bomoseen: This 2,360 acre lake is located 14 miles west of Rutland, Vermont. Lake Bomoseen is also the largest water body all within Vermont. The lake has excellent numbers of large mouth bass with 6 - 8 pounders produced yearly. Small mouth bass live in Bomoseen and are caught in the 2 -4 pound range.
Lake Champlain: This 278,440 acre lake is the sixth great lake with a water surface of 435 square miles. Champlain is one of the nations top large & small mouth bass fisheries with both bass species found throughout the lake where depths are less than 40 feet. The average bass is 2 -3 pounds, with small mouth bass often topping 4 pounds and large mouth bass coming in at 6 pounds yearly.
Gail Meadows: A 195 acre lake located in Bondville, Vermont and 15 miles southeast of Manchester, Vermont. Fishing is done among the many flooded trees. Large mouth bass and chain pickerel dominate the lake. The lake has great views of Stratton & Bromley Ski Resorts.
Lowell Lake: This 102 acre lake is located in Londonderry, Vermont within Lowell Lake State Park. The use of gas powered boats is not allowed. Fishing is done from boats or canoes with electric trolling motors. Large mouth bass are the main warm water species within the lake.
Connecticut River: The Connecticut River is the longest in New England and runs between Vermont & New Hampshire. Small mouth bass are abundant when fishing from Springfield, Vermont to the Massachusetts border. Large mouth bass & trophy northern pike live on the rivers many quiet coves & setbacks near river mouths and above major dams.
Equipment & What to Bring
We at Green Mountain Fishing Adventures will provide you with the latest in fishing tackle needed for a day on the water.
We have graphite rods with either a spinning or bait casting reel. We have many lures and baits suited for all types of fishing conditions.
During your trip you may start with one type of rod/reel combination and switch at anytime to a different type. We will provide instruction on the use of different rod/reel types.
If you are left handed, please let us know when you make your reservation, so we can provide you with a rod/reel for your needs.
If you would like to bring your own rod, that is okay, but let us know so we can make sure your equipment is suited to the type of fishing we will be doing.

Green Mountain fishing Adventures is located in Londonderry, Vermont. It is owned by USCG Licensed Captain Mike Nellis.
Captain Mike is the 2001 VERMONT STATE CHAMPION at the BASSIN' BIG BASS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP tournament.

Full Day (7am – 3pm) $125.00
Second Person $ 90.00
Half Day (7am – 12pm) $ 75.00

Late Day Trips $ 55.00

50% Deposit required when booking.
Balance due on arrival – cash or check.
Deposit refunded if cancelled 14 days prior to trip or we can reschedule.
Water & Weather cancellations at the guide’s discretion.
